team of an international consultancy firm to verify
the accuracy of the data conversion into the computerized
system. The operations department is also subject to
a regular audit by Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.

parent company, RCBC Capital Corporation, is a source
of debt and equity initial public offerings, private
placements, and secondary offerings. It also deals in
government securities and commercial papers.
Our
ultimate parent company, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation
(RCBC), is the 6th largest private domestic universal
bank in terms of total assets as of end 1999.
RCBC
is a shareholder of the Philippine Central Depository
through the Bankers Association of the Philippines.
RCBC
is also a shareholder and one of two special settlement
banks of the Securities Clearing Corporation of the
Philippines.

RCBC
ezTrade accepts Limit Order and Good Till Cancelled
(GTC) orders only. Short Selling and Margin Trading
are not available.

Our
commission cost is one of the lowest in the stock online
trading industry. For every transaction, we charge only
1/4 of 1% of the gross amount, or a minimum of P45 if
you are living in the Philippines or P495 if you are
living outside the Philippines, which ever is higher.

The
RCBC Securities, Inc. website provides various types
of research reports, namely, Philippine Daily Update,
Philippine Market Review, Philippine Weekly Wrap, Technical
Focus, Company Report, Company Update, and Special Reports/Others.
These reports are available for free at the Research
Hub which can be accessed after signing up. Descriptions
of these reports are also provided in this page. The
reports can be viewed in our website or downloaded for
later reading. Note that to download the reports, right
click on "Download" and select "Save
As..." then type any name for the report. The reports
are either in MS Word or Adobe Acrobat formats. If you
would like to install the Acrobat reader in your computers
for reading our research reports, please follow the
link to the Adobe homepage found in the Research Help
page.
How
do I access these Research products? |
The
Research products can be accessed at the Research Hub
after signing up for a free Research Account. To enter
the Research Hub, just click on the link “Research”
located on the left panel of the main page then type
in your user name and password. To read the reports,
click on the type of research product you wish to browse,
example “Daily Research Report”, then you
will see the list of titles arranged by date, with the
latest ones listed first. Click on a title then you
will immediately see the full report.
How
do I use the Search facility of the Research Hub?

To
use the Search engine, just type the word(s) that you
want to look for and click the “Go” button
and the list of reports will come out. The reports are
arranged in reverse chronological order, i.e., the latest
reports are listed first. Click on the report that you
want to read and search for the article that contains
the word(s) that you are looking for. Note that the
reports are static and therefore, the word(s) you might
be looking for may not be located immediately on the
first part of the report, e.g., the first article on
the Daily Report may not contain the word(s) that you
are searching for. Thus, you have to browse over the
entire report. An alternative way to search for specific
articles is to use the search engine in the “In
the spotlight” Archive. Here, the reports are
arranged individually making it easier to search for
specific articles. However, only the most important
articles are here.
